We’re Craig Peterson and Nate Ploog, owners of Caring Transitions of New Smyrna Beach & Oviedo, FL. We’ve been close friends for more than forty years, and our lives have always been shaped by shared faith, trust, and a desire to help others. Our Christian values guide how we treat people, especially during seasons of life that feel uncertain or overwhelming.

Serving seniors has been part of our lives long before Caring Transitions. Craig is deeply involved in his local church and has helped start ministries focused on supporting older adults in the community. Nate grew up in a close-knit, faith-centered family and has spent more than 25 years working with seniors in the home health care industry. Those experiences gave us a deep respect for the challenges seniors face and the importance of being present, patient, and understanding.

Caring Transitions felt like the right path for us, a way to grow our friendship while doing work with real purpose. We hope to bring greater awareness, empathy, and understanding to the transitions seniors experience later in life. We believe elder care should feel personal and compassionate, and we’re committed to walking alongside seniors and their families with care, respect, and heart.
